From trauma to transformation
What began as a small volunteer group has grown into a comprehensive program that supports children and families affected by poverty and trauma across Rwanda.
Today, we provide psychosocial support, livelihood training, and nutrition programs that help create lasting change in our communities.
Annualite Uwayezu
In late 2018, Annualite witnessed her community struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges that were tearing families apart. Rather than stand by, she gathered nine passionate colleagues and founded Chase a Better Tomorrow.

Under her leadership, the organization has grown from a small volunteer group to a comprehensive program that has supported over 5,400 children through psycho-social counseling, sustainable livelihood training, and nutrition programs.
Annualite's vision continues to drive the organization's mission: creating lasting change by addressing the root causes of poverty and trauma in Rwandan communities.

This day tour takes you to Jabana, a quiet rural community just in Kigali, where you’ll meet the founder of Chase A Better Tomorrow and other women entrepreneurs, and engage with families facing real-life challenges. With the goal of sharing stories or just a smile, connecting and making them feel seen.
