Rwanda is a leading country in the world with a high percentage of women in parliament and there are strong laws to protect women, however there are still challenges in Rwandan society to understand gender balance because of norms and traditions. CHASE A BETTER TOMORROW helps prevent gender based violence, underage pregnancy, by raising society’s awareness about gender balance, the organization also supports the participation of women in decision making and encourages women to speak out for themselves because they matter. CHASE A BETTER TOMORROW do so to guarantee women’s well being as most of them are mothers, so they can raise their children in a secured way.
